I guess I'll be top cover. So everyone duck when I call Fox1 or 2!

The current situation leaves us without IFF, so if you get locked up, "ring the bell and run like hell" - or holler on the common command net.

In honour of the Falklands (my first gig, so to speak) here's a couple of photos that I took when the opportunity arose and I felt brave enough to stick my head up...
1. Attempt to bomb us. Ner ner, missed!
2. What they did to the civvie's homes out of spite.
3. Unloading our gear from Navy taxi.
4. Pimp my ride - me and my "Tunny".

Gaspode, if your viewing on your mobile device, keep your finger on the image til you get the menu options and choose open in new tab.

The image alone is then opened in a new explorer tab and auto resized making for easier viewing.

Hope it helps

Sorry about that but I'm no genius with computers, as you will have already gathered. They were quickly snapped from the original prints that I found, using my mobile phone and sent to my main PC for posting. Quality is bad as they were originally shot using one of those tiny cassette cameras with a thumb wheel advance!! Which was high-tech at the time......

I regret that I shall not be able to fly on this evening’s mission. I am due to have an injection in my wrist that day and am not allowed to use my right hand for at least 12 hrs. Stop sniggering at the back there!

I may be there to wave you all goodbye with my tear- stained hanky.
