Postby Neil Willis » 08 Jun 2018, 08:58

Tonight's mission will be a training session based on the Caucasus map, and will include A-10Cs, AV-8B NAs and F/A-18Cs.

There will be ranges for weapons training, both the Tarawa and Stennis for carrier operations, and tankers for practicing AAR procedures.

If anyone requires and one to one training, please post in the training thread, and let us know what kind of assistance you require. The training will take place within the main mission, but separate comms will be available if needed.

Pre-flight briefing - 19:30 hrs Alpha.

Take off - 20:00 hrs Alpha.

I am happy to fly with anyone needing A-10C training.

Just let me know what sort of thing you want to do e.g Basic formation procedures, attacks, weapons delivery etc, so that I can make sure that the relevant facilities are in the mission.

Neil, I have arranged to do a training sortie and some basic weapons training with Gaspode during this evenings mission. Which mission do you plan to use - I presume it will be the Caucasus Generic Mission, since you plan to fly various aircraft types?

Can you let me know and I will make sure there is a good selection of non-belligerent targets available somewhere out of the way.

I understand the generic mission has all major airframes available, but I'll check, and make sure there are a couple of each available if they are currently absent.
