Trevor, the idea is to avoid rather than take out targets. If you are going to use a TOW on every soldier that you see you are going to have nothing left when you do need to fight your way out of a problem.
Alan, having just flown this it's a very enjoyable mission.
My only observation is that your destination FARP is somewhat floating, when I implimented this to the new generic build I have replaced the large four pad FARP with 4 single helipads and moved them down to the road a couple of hundred metres to the north east where the ground is level.
Yes it was 'Dan Dare' heliport - floating in the air. I wasn't familiar with the separate helipads, and couldn't find anywhere within a reasonable distance to put the FARP.
Just flew this via the generic mission with Lau and Nick, and my god!
starting with an over weight Huey, it was the biggest challenge of my DCS helicopter career to get the bastard over those hills! but I made it after much back and forth to gain height, started with a Huey, Gazelle and KA50 made it to the end of the mission with the KA50 doing its best "Blackhawk down" impersonation a gazelle that became part of the terrain due to enemy forces and the lone Huey just about making it back to the FARP with little over 50Lbs of fuel left!
